Vintage Cabins Rentals in the heart of Lassen
Great for solo travelers, couples, and families alike, our cabin rentals are clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just outside the Southwestern entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park.
Our charming and quaint rental cabins each have their own unique personality and character— just what you would expect to find in vintage 1930s-60s built cabins. We thoughtfully curated most of the decor using upcycled, thrifted, and made-to-last furnishings.
Explore the wilderness of Lassen without having to sacrifice comfort. Each of our cabins sleeps at least four people and features a fully stocked kitchen and full bathroom. Each rental cabin is equipped with a furnace for those chilly nights and wintertime getaways. Cool mountain air through an open window is the only air conditioning you’ll need during those dog days of summer. Spacious parking, outdoor seating, and a fire ring are available at every cabin.
Pets are welcome in all of our cabins for an extra $25/night, two pets max. We ask that you do not leave your pet unattended in the cabin at any time and that they are leashed and picked up after at all times while on the property. We can provide pet-sitting referrals if needed. The fee for an unattended dog is $100 per incident.

Our Logging Family cabin is one of our more spacious cabins for rent. We paid homage to the logging pioneers of the Lassen area by decorating the cabin with local vintage photographs and antique logging relics. The 2 bedrooms each have a queen-sized log bed, and the living room couch folds out, making room for 2 more sleeping spaces.
Take joy in ultimate family time in the generously-sized living room that’s open to the kitchen and dining room with seating for six. Watch the world go by on the half-wrap-around porch nestled into the forest.

Our Smokey the Bear cabin is one of the smaller cabins we offer and is perfect for solo travelers or couples. A futon-style couch is tucked away in the bedroom with a full-size log bed. Enjoy the amenities of the kitchen with seating for four at the small dining room table.

Our Vintage National Park Cabin is the twin sister cabin of Cabin #2 and our personal favorite. Another great choice for singles, couples, or families with small children. Admire the views from the front porch overlooking the playground and meadow. This small cabin features a single bedroom with a full-size log bed and futon and a kitchen with seating for four.

Our Farmhouse Cabin is a popular cabin for families wanting 2 bedrooms, each with full-size beds. Situated near the playground with a front porch to watch the kids play or to make a quick trip to the lodge for dinner. Thoughtfully decorated with soft linens, and antique farmhouse decor, and has a cozy kitchen nook with seating for four.

Our Fisherman’s Cabin is one of the few cabins that features a full-size living room. Take comfort in the open space during the day, then fold out the sleeper sofa at bedtime to create 2 more sleeping spaces. This one-bedroom cabin has a queen-size bed and a kitchen with seating for four.

Our Nordic Cabin pays tribute to Lassen’s pioneering mountain-sport enthusiasts. Located at the end of the cabin loop, this cabin is private, quiet, and a favorite of many. Large windows in the spacious living and dining room offer a wonderful view of the forest. The bedroom features a queen-size log bed and artwork by our favorite local artist.

Our Summer Camp Cabin is reminiscent of days spent under the sun by the lake. This small cabin features a single bedroom with a queen-size log bed and futon. Enjoy the kitchen with seating for four. A small back porch leads to the outdoor seating area with serene views of the meadow and forest beyond.

Our Mountain Lodge Cabin is our favorite cabin and most popular for larger families. Featuring 2 spacious bedrooms with king-sized beds, a full kitchen, and seating for six at the large dining room table. The cozy living room features a fold-down couch, a beautiful stone fireplace, and extra seating to relax and reconnect after a long day of play.

Our Pinewood Cabin offers the most privacy and solitude of any of our cabins. Not quite a two-bedroom cabin; a single queen bed is situated in the front room of the cabin, with a futon located in the small, sunny room at the back. Seating for four in the roomy kitchen featuring original pine cabinets. Bask in the peace and tranquility of this little cabin tucked away deep in the forest.

Although our rental cabins have all the necessities for a comfortable stay, you won’t find any A/C, microwaves, Wi-Fi, televisions, or reliable cell phone service in any of the units. Be prepared for time well spent unplugged and undistracted.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We do not offer refunds, transfers of stays or exceptions for reasons out of our control such as:
• Weather, including smoke
• Fire related events
• Power outages
• Lassen National Park closures
• Road conditions or closures
• Unforeseen occurrences
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your reservation as we do not offer refunds or credits for future stays. Please be advised you are coming to an extreme environment where weather, fire and unpredictable events do occur.
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away.
50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in.
During holiday periods 50% refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check in.
No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days for holiday periods or 7 days of check-in.
